THE NEWS WE NEVER WANTED TO GIVE:
After 10+ happy years, 80+ volunteers and thousands of cakes,
Spire Café will be closing at the end of the year.
We have loved being part of the living community that has grown around us:
thank you so much for making it such a special place.
Sat 31 Oct will be our last "proper" café - so whether you've been a regular for years or you've never yet conquered that hill - we'd love to see you.
Let's make this the best farewell party ever!
The final Spire Café event will be our New Year's Eve gathering:
9 pm - 1 am
scones + hot chocolate + hot spiced apple juice
Spire Café opened in 2016 as a friendly place offering yummy comfort food. Rapidly, it gained a lovely crowd of friends.
Our volunteer team now open the café for special events only - but we look forward to seeing you then!
There's always something interesting going on when Spire Café's open: expect anything from secret-gem exhibitions to heritage walking tours, wildlife events and bell-tower visits.
